I'm glad you had a super-duper time in class--I did, too! (And I'm not just saying that either)

You can’t just depend on others to do their work, or for things to just come together. You actually have to make things work, and people do their part.

I'm glad you had this realization--group work is hard and you will probably have to do it for the rest of your life. There is power in the camaraderie of a job completed together and completed well.

I also liked your analogy of working on this project and working on saving the earth--very insightful.

Have a wonderful summer--it's been fun to have you in class!

Great idea to poll students--do you think you could design one and distribute it during lab or lunch? Let me see what you come up with before you give it out, but start working on it--that will be a great addition to our documentary.

Corinne--make sure you go back and add your citation and your link. It would also be helpful if you cited the source within the post as well, in case the link ever gets broken.

You might see if you could connect this to the cyclone that just hit Myanmar this week.

And, just so you know:
cite=verb (Cite your sources)
site=noun (Go to that site and check out what it says)

also, check your effect/affect and edit :-)

Did you find out how much estimated energy we, as a nation, saved? That might be interesting.

That was a very interesting article--thanks for finding it. I particularly liked the pictures of the retreating glacier.

How wonderful that you notice the writing style--can you pinpoint what you admire about it? Look at an individual sentence and see how he constructs it--is it the syntax (the order of the words) or the diction (word choice) that makes the sentence work? Also pay close attention to the verb in the sentence--interesting verbs often create interesting sentences.

Although you cannot use the photos in your segment (they are copyrighted), you (or someone in your group) could make a representational drawing of the glaciers and make a still image of that.

Please go back and edit for spelling and capitalization. And just so you know:
cite=verb (to cite the source)
site=noun (the website, or I visited a site).

Glad you're getting caught up! :-)
